
Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell (Fugees) to create an unforgettable cover version of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". The depth of his charismatic stardom became apparent as Ky-Mani performed at Midem (international music showcase) at the time it was held within Miami in the very first time. In front of an international crowd inside the capacity-packed Cameo Theatre, Ky-Mani delivered an explosive set which aired live by CANA (Caribbean News Agency) to 36 countries. Ky-mani is working on his sixth studio album. It will show his growth in his own right and will highlight the dual nature of his persona Ky-mani and Maestro. This is an urban-inspired sound that has roots in hip-hop and reggae. The album is expected to offer refreshing change of the electronic pop of the music genre. Instead, it will provide a true representation of urban hip-hop and reggae mix. New single by the rapper is " New Heights" released the 3rd of March, 2011.
